Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship is an administrative region, or voivodship, in central-northern Poland. Its capital cities are Bydgoszcz and Torun. Kujawsko Pomorskie is an old region situated at the borderland of the Russian and Prussian partition. The historically strong ties of Torun and Gdansk provide now good ground for multifaceted co operation between Kuþawsko-Pomorskie and Pomorskie voivodships. The Vistula River, a traditional trade route in medieval Poland, links the largest centres of the voivodship: Wloclawek, Torun, Bydgoszcz and Grudziadz.
