The oldest such garden in Poland. It was founded in 1797 in Torun, the initiative of a medical doctor and botanist Johann Gottlieb Schultz.
Currently, Garden occupies an area of almost 4 hectares. It is collected in 55 species of trees, 24 species of shrubs and about 50 species of animals. Here you'll see a bear, bison, meerkats, moufflons, llama, lynx, which, monkeys, ostriches, and a collection of reptiles and snakes (herpetarium) and the birds fly (aviary) and water (runs). Garden has a large collection of parrots.
