Thorn Street located in Old Town. Pauline Bridge was originally a bridge over the valley of the river bed, acting for the two streams of Torun: Torun Postolec and Struga. It provided a link between the Old and New Town. Later a bridge was formed on the surface of buildings, existing after many changes today.
From the Old City Gate Street closed Paulinska, demolished in the 20s Nineteenth century. Today is one of the few Gothic bridge in Poland. At the turn of the century were prepared to explore the underground part of the bridge, and more specifically the recess between two bays. Walking sadly it is only possible once a year, in May. Then the day is celebrated Pauline Bridge.
